We should BAN Alex Cullen!!

What the hell is wrong with this man??? Is there noone out there that will challenge this idiot in the next municipal election. This is a prime example of what is wrong with this city and we deserve everything we get because we keep electing him.

Ottawa...The City that Fun Forgot

That seems to be a recurring theme when ever we hear stories comming out of City Hall. The Street Hockey ban in Ottawa is just plain stupid. Kids play hockey on my street in Barrhaven all the time and I or my neighbours don't have a problem with it. When you live in a community that has mostly young families you can expect kids to play in the street. Where the hell do they expect the kids to play, the average back yard it too small for any use besides planting a couple of flowers or erecting a patio set, this is a reality of living in a city.

I for one would prefer my kids to play in the street in front of my house instead of going to a park where they are out of my sight and could be exposed to many perils such as, drug dealers, sexual predators or swarmings. I know this sounds alarming but these are the kinds of things that happen in Barrhaven lately. The idiots in the Council Chamber should pull their heads out of their collective asses and start doing things in this city that make sense for a change.

Ottawa to get Car Pool Lanes

What a joke.....This city always seems to miss the point when it comes to transportation. Fact is they could implement car pool lanes now on the Queensway if they wanted to. Many portions of the Queensway already has a bus lane that is usually empty and doesn't permit cars to drive on it. Why don't they just do it and permit cars to drive in these lanes at certain times of the day, as usual this city council just talks and talks and does little in the way of action.

If they really want to get serious about commuter traffic then they should offer an alternative by improving the public transit system. The majority of traffic in this city is east-west but the city insists on spending almost a Billion dollars on a North-South light rail system. For god sake we need to get these jokers out of city hall and put some people in there that have a clue.

It's Time to Crack Down on these Drug Dealers

I have become sick and tired of listening to polititions tell me time and time again that we need to combat the social injustices that lead to drug use and trafficing. Heres an idea....lock them up in jail. Why should law biding citizens have to fear that everytime their kids go to school or out with their friends that someone is going to be standing on the corner trying to sell them drugs. These types of drugs are becomming more prevelant in our society and it is time we started getting tough on criminals. We should start with these ones and get tougher from there.
